The X One Design is a beautiful classic wooden racing keelboat first raced in 1911 and still going strong today,  providing very competitive racing and giving great pleasure to those who sail them.

Every boat has a history and a story, each XOD is beautifully maintained; we are just custodians of these magnificent boats.

The XOD class at Itchenor Sailing Club runs over 140 competitive races during the season, on weekends as well as Wednesday evenings; where we have a fun race and a meal together afterwards.

​

​Here at Itchenor we are one of six clubs around the Solent sailing XOD's and there is the opportunity to race with all 140 boats.
