The great thing about sailing an XOD at Itchenor is the group of friendly people, competing on the water and socialising afterwards over a pint. There is always something to talk about eg. in the photo, who has the biggest headache?

With well over 140 races during the season at Itchenor there is unbeatable first class competitive sailing suitable for crews and helms of all strengths and sizes.

 

Although a classic racing boat the XOD is also a safe Solent boat; great for a family sail and a picnic on the beach.

With five other Solent clubs racing Xs, the competition is always high and well supported.

The X is also very affordable to buy and run, especially if you join a syndicate.
